the tombs scattered over the countryside.<\/span><\/div>\n
Even the people.<\/span><\/div>\n

There are hills below that appear to be piles of mud<\/span><\/div>\n
set out to dry in the sun, naked,<\/span><\/div>\n
without a single tree or bush.<\/span><\/div>\n
They crowd around the landscape<\/span><\/div>\n
like the coils of bulging intestines<\/span><\/div>\n
tossed on the ground outside butchers’ shops,<\/span><\/div>\n
